Whisk

The Whisk is what turns matcha and water into matcha. Without one, the powder and water never fully combine.

Handmade from dark bamboo, cut by hand into 120 fine prongs. Dark bamboo is denser and springier than standard bamboo, so the prongs hold their shape longer and aerate more finely. 120 prongs is on the high end of traditional counts. More prongs, smoother foam, less powder left unwhisked.
