The Base is crafted from stainless steel, designed to live on your counter and last forever. Your first Pod holds 40g of ceremonial grade matcha from Uji, Japan. The Whisk creates the smooth, frothy texture of a well-prepared matcha.

20 servings per Pod — €2.25 per cup.
Most people refill every 2–4 weeks.
Preparation

Sift 2g (1 Uchi Spoons) into 40ml of hot water at 70°C.

Whisk until smooth, then add 120ml of water or milk.

Uchi Matcha

64mg of caffeine paired with L-theanine — an amino acid that promotes calm focus. Steady energy without the jitters or crash of coffee. Alert, but never wired.

Origin

Produced by Horii Shichimeien, a tea house in Uji founded in 1879. They are one of the few producers in Uji that own their own tea garden — Okunoyama, the last surviving garden of the seven famous farms designated during the Muromachi period. Over 600 years of unbroken cultivation.

Our blend, Kaze no Shiro, is a first-harvest matcha grown in Kyoto Prefecture. The leaves are shaded for over 25 days to develop depth, sweetness and a vivid green colour, then stone-milled at Horii's farm at 30 grams per hour.
