Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in the European Union. Uchi's team, their households and anyone involved in running the giveaway cannot enter.
How to enter
An entry is valid only when all three steps are complete: (a) comment on Uchi's birthday post on Instagram and tag at least one friend; (b) follow @uchimatcha on Instagram; (c) complete the form on uchimatcha.com/pages/uchi-is-one with your email address and Instagram handle. One email address and one Instagram account per person.
Period
Entries open on Saturday 7 November 2026 at 00:00 CET and close on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 23:59 CET. Entries after that time are not counted.
Entering is free
No purchase is needed, and orders do not add entries. The birthday Pod offer on uchimatcha.com is separate from this giveaway.
Extra entries
Each complete entry counts as one entry. You receive three extra entries for every friend who completes a valid entry and names your Instagram handle in the "Who told you?" field. You receive five extra entries, once, for either sharing Uchi's giveaway post to your Instagram Story or posting an Instagram Story of your matcha moment that tags Uchi, during the period. Both are detected automatically and checked by hand. If your Instagram account is private, Uchi cannot see your Story: send Uchi a screenshot of it by Instagram message during the period, and the five entries are added by hand.
Prizes
First prize: the Complete set (Base, Pod, Bowl, Spoon, Sieve and Whisk) and eleven further Pods, retail value €615. The following prizes are added only if the number of valid entrants reaches the milestone: at 100 entrants, a second prize, the Complete set (retail value €120); at 200 entrants, a third prize, the Home + Whisk set (retail value €80); at 350 entrants, every valid entrant receives a free Spoon with their next order of €45 or more, by code, with no end date.
The draw
On Monday 16 November 2026, winners are drawn at random from all valid entries, weighted by the number of entries each person holds. The draw is recorded. Each person can win one prize only. The top 5 posted in Uchi's Stories shows entries, not winners.
Checks and disqualification
Winners must still follow Uchi at the time of the draw and hold a valid entry. Uchi may disqualify entries that use fake or bought accounts, several email addresses, automated tools or referrals from accounts created to gain entries, and then draws again.
Winners
Winners are contacted on 16 November 2026 by Instagram message and email, and must reply with an EU delivery address within 7 days, or a new winner is drawn. Winners are announced on Uchi's Instagram with their handle, only with their consent.
Delivery
Prizes are delivered free of charge within the EU. The first prize arrives in four deliveries: in November 2026, the Complete set (which holds one Pod) together with two further Pods; then three further Pods each in February, May and August 2027. That makes eleven further Pods in total.
Prizes as offered
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
Scoreboard and data
The top 5 in Uchi's Stories shows partly hidden Instagram handles and entry counts. Entering subscribes you to Uchi's letters; you can unsubscribe at any time. Uchi processes entry data to run the giveaway, as described in the privacy policy, and deletes data not needed for the newsletter once the prizes are delivered.
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. By entering, you release Instagram from any responsibility for this giveaway.
Code of conduct
This giveaway follows the Dutch code of conduct for promotional games of chance (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014).
Changes
Uchi may change or end the giveaway in case of fraud, technical failure or circumstances outside its control, and will announce any change on this page.
